SURFING	The North East coast is famous for quality surf breaks and clear warm water. N.E.swell hits the coast from low pressure systems that form off the east coast of Tasmania and mainland Australia or southerly / S.E. swell wraps around the island from big storms generated from the Southern Ocean and Antarctica. Scamander and the coast immediately south and north (45 mins drive either direction), is dotted with points, river mouths, reef and beach breaks. SWIMMING	Long clean uncrowded beaches and clear turqoise water. Ideal for lazing around or strolling. Scamander river mouth, next to our Villas, also provides shallow and protected still water for the kids to play in.
